- Do you create your own menus?

Yes, in fact we do. We will either create an individualized custom menu for you to use for your party or you may choose from our one of a kind hand crafted menus available on our website.

- How long will it take for my bartender to set up?
​
Our staff will arrive promptly one half hour before your event, and stay one half hour later to help you clean up.
​
- May I request additional hours?
​
Yes, our staff will work the required hours specified in your contract, but they are always on standby in case your needs require more. This will however, incur additional charges.

- Do you provide alcohol or do I buy it?
​
You are more than welcome to buy your own alcohol and we will furnish you with a shopping list depending upon your requested menu. However, if you feel inclined to bestow this responsibility on our staff, we would be happy to do so, for an extra fee, along with reimbursement. We will bill accordingly.

- Do you provide glassware?
​
Yes, we do provide either plasticwares, or glasswares based upon your needs and/or desires.
​
- How far do you travel?
​
At the moment, we are servicing all areas of Long Island, Westchester County and the five boroughs.

- Do prices vary?
​
Prices will vary depending upon the type of service, amount of staff needed, and based upon each individual circumstance.

- Do you require a deposit?
​
Yes, we require a 25% deposit to begin conceptualizing your event once your contract is signed.
​
- What is your cancellation policy?
​
Our cancellation policy is fully refundable until menus are printed. This is explained in further detail when you receive your 'statement of rights and responsibility' when you book your event.

- How prepared is your staff for each event?
​
Our staff exhibits the utmost in professionallity. They come fully prepared and well versed in your event's particularities. They are also equipped with all of their required equipment and uniforms.

- What happens if I do not have a bar?
​
There is no worry for those of you who do not have a fully stocked bar. Few do. There are multiple packages available with Bee's Knees, one of which comes with a fully equipped mobile bar. However, many of our clients use portable tables of their own (or that we can provide for a small price). Rest assured, that we will assist you in obtaining the right commodities for all your event needs.

- Do you give bartending lessons?
​
Yes, we do. As we train every one of our bartenders and servers, we also have instructors available for bartender training parties and events. We have serviced bachelor(ette) parties, and corporate events where we spend a few hours assisting your guests in finding their way around a bar, giving them the history of their favorite alcohols, finding their "signature shake" and making their favorite cocktail or two.

- Do you have flair bartending?
​
Flair bartending is one of the services that we do provide. We do however, ask that this be tailored to our bartender's needs, as the right circumstance must be ensured in order for us to provide the best service for our clients. Their must be ample room for our bartender to work with, and we ask that in any crcumstance where fire is being used, that the utmost in safety is being afforded. Our bartenders are trained in fire and saftey hazard equipment. This can be explained in further detail upon implementation of such a service.

- What is molecular bartending?
​
For this service, we do provide the required materials, but we do ask that we are given at least two weeks notice to prepare for your event. Molecular bartending is a form of science where our bartenders alter the molecular compound of your drinks right before your eyes to provide you with exceptionally crafted cocktails.
- What types of events have you serviced?
​
Corporate happy hours and events, weddings, bachelor(ette) parties, bridal showers, liquor and wine tastings, barmitsvas, house parties, and birthdays and engagement parties.

- What is your statement on underage drinking?
​
Our staff reserves the right and obligation to not serve underage drinkers and/or anyone they suspect as intoxicated at any given time. This applies both in venues and in your own homes. Sorry, no exceptions can be made, either before or during your event. Please understand that this puts our staff in a very uncomfortable situation.

- Can you refer me to other event service companies?
​
Our company collaborates with many event production companies. Just as our company works on referrals, so do many others. We find that it is important to obtain rapports with service providers in your area in order to better assist you with all of your planning needs.

- Do you provide garnishes?
​
Yes, we can for a price obtain all garnishes (lemons, limes, cherries, etc.).
​
- Do you create your own products?
​
Bee's Knees has a line of bitters that can be purchased through our website, and other products sent directly to your home, and/or used at your event. Each of your products is carefully executed and packaged with the utmost in skill and sophistication.

- Do I have to tip the bartender and/or waitstaff, barista?
​
As the saying goes, You do get more bees with honey, rather than vinegar. We do feel that the best way to thank our staff for their service is by gratuitous means. We will discuss all gratuity prior to the party, as there are multiple ways to ensure that our staff is duly taken care of.

- What types of services do you provide?
​
The services that we provide at the moment are bartending, waitstaff, and barista services. But we are open to discussing other services on an individual and case by case basis.
